Curriculum vitae

Dr. Johann Roturier works as a principal research engineer in Symantec's Shared Engineering Services EMEA group. He completed his PhD thesis in 2007. He has experience in designing and evaluating custom controlled authoring and machine translation solutions (both rules-based and statistical). At the end of 2008 he joined the OASIS XLIFF Technical Committee and was a keynote speaker at the 2009 MT Summit in Ottawa. He recently contributed to the MT community the SymEval translation evaluation toolkit. He is also a member of the Centre for Next Generation Localisation.
